Lunch bunch is a small group that meets 3 days weekly to provide additional guidance in social emotional development. Groups are designed based on student needs with staff and counselor input, to ensure a cohesive and instrumental group. Sessions are solution and/or skills based on a rotating schedule for all grade levels.
Students bring their lunch and meet for a special lunch and learning experience.
Sessions include, art therapy techniques and other activities that allow for personal expression, coaching, and collaboration in a safe and supportive environment. Some activities stem from our work with the Zones of Regulation program or social thinking curriculum. (More information is provided in the resources page of this blog.)
